Welcome to the website of the ”Organisation of Study associations” (OS)

The Organisation of Study associations (OS) is the umbrella organisation of study association at the University of Twente. The OS has been established in December 1998.

Our most prominent task is to serve the interest of our members. Every study has their own corresponding study association. At this moment, 17 associations are affiliated with the OS. You can find an overview of all the study associations here.

    Workshop 1 Marketing & Communication – Media training

    Crash course: dealing with the media

    How do you gain media attention for your association? And how do you make sure that your message will stick? During this workshop, Joost Bruysters and Laurens van der Velde will learn you how to deal with the media.

    Workshop 2 Student Affairs & Counselling – A healthy work-life balance

    How do you maintain a healthy work-life balance during your board year? During this workshop, you will receive practical tips & tricks from student counsellor Minke Klomp.

    Workshop 3 Marketing & Communication – Social media

    Crash course in using social media

    Social media is essential in your association's marketing & communications, but what’s the best way to do it? During this workshop Desiré van den Beld and Jessica van Loenen will learn you how to create engaging posts and how to evaluate the insights to optimize them. We'll also talk about how you can use your association's members as digital ambassadors.

    Workshop 4 –Relationship management and acquisition with a LinkedIn training

    In this training a former External Affairs board member will provide you tips & tricks about acquisition and relationship management. Joe Laufer from the Alumni Office will provide a workshop about how you can use LinkedIn to find relevant persons or companies for sponsoring, speakers for events or other collaborations.

    Workshop 5 – Treasury

    In this training, a former treasury board member will provide you tips & tricks about how to manage your bookkeeping, how it works, and where you can start in a pile of work. Josine Meerburg will tell you more about crowdfunding at the UT and how you can make use of this crowdfunding.

    Workshop 6 – Chairman
    In this training, a former chairman will provide you insights in how you manage a team or committee and how you keep your board members motivated.
